The Trust covers 3 geographically dispersed sites within Lincolnshire and has extensive data networks delivering ICT services to approximately 7500 staff. We wish to appoint an ICT Technical Support Technician to work within the Trusts ICT Department Technical Services Team. The principal role of this position is to provide technical support, maintenance and advice on the following:
The candidate must be educated to Degree level or equivalent in a computing related field or have gained equivalent experience. Good knowledge of the use and configuration of Windows 7/10 and Microsoft Office Products is essential, as is experience with the configuration/installation of PC applications, peripherals and hardware.
The successful candidates will be required to take part in an “On-call” rota – providing support to key hospital systems out of hours.
The successful candidates must be flexible to the needs of the ICT service which will require the post holder to travel to sites other than the main base in order to meet the demands of the service users.
